The Boys Swimming team continue their outstanding season through December and
into the new year. On December 12, they won over Von Steuben and on December 20th, they won a
dual meet over Whitney Young 87 to 83. During the victory, Justin Fernandez set
a new school record in the 200 IM with a time of 2:04.85. The boys practiced
over the break and their hard work payed off with a winning Harks Relays at
Maine South H.S.. They beat suburban schools like Carl Sandburg, Maine
South, and Conant H.S.
They will be swimming in the CPS city relay meet Saturday
1/12/13 at 10:00am at Whitney Young. Come out and cheer them on!
