Senior Pavlo Hutsalyuk won the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP in the mile run Saturday at Eastern IL University. His time of 4:08.19 is the fastest ever by a CPS runner, was only 2 seconds off of the state meet record and is currently the 9th fastest high school time in the country . The 4x200 and 4x400 relay teams of Arturo Cardiel, Chris Gibson, Kyle Williams, Malik Hamilton, and Michael Hardman also finished the season with personal best times. Thank you to everyone who supported the Boys Track & Field student athletes this season!
